While it is no secret that I prioritise the clean fresh aesthetic of an essential white tee, sometimes… well sometimes it’s also nice to experiment and express creativity through your tee. After all, isn’t the plain white tee just a blank canvas anyway? Scotch & Soda certainly seem to think so. With their S/S collection they are exploring patterned prints and fresh ocean colours all with a hand drawn and/ or watercolour painted touch. So before the summer is over let’s check out my personal picks.
These circular designs are just plain fun and the hand drawn quality adds a real playful element to them as opposed to your standard polka dot. The numerous tones of blue truly pop on those bright sunny days.
Naturally carrying on the authentic hand drawn theme comes this T-shirt which goes one better with the soft brush strokes of a watercolour painting. Blue and greens merge with large brush strokes over the tee which looks, quite simply, gorgeous.
Finally, now while this isn’t technically a print, hear me out, is this tee which has been embellished with an embroidery design. Look, it looks like a print from afar so I’m counting it. The embroidered detail creates a bit of intrigue over your standard printed tee and is quite nice to the touch. Plus it makes up a nice image of our beloved EU. We’re sorry! Come back! We miss you!
