Today is Millie Mackintosh’s birthday. Yes, the ‘Made In Chelsea’ starlet and false eyelash entrepreneur turns 27 today. After finding fame on everyone’s favourite constructed reality show about posh people in a south-west London borough, the Quality Street heiress has become quite the fashion icon, often popping up on best dressed lists.
To celebrate the day, here are some of her recent looks that are total fashion goals.
We love this chic 80s-inspired black velvet blazer with gold embellishment. She is serving powerful businesswoman realness and we are living. We also love her black 70s-esque flares. Queen of mixing decades.
Millie always keeps it super feminine, and we love this red floral top. She makes the look more edgy though with the white distressed jean. This look would be super cute for a festival, although you might be returning with a muddy-camel jean as opposed to white.
If there’s one thing Millie does well, it’s elegant looks. In the words of Fergie, she looks G-L-A-M-O-R-O-U-S in this nude lace top and floaty bird-print skirt. Genuinely, we would never wear anything else if we had that gorgeous skirt.
White is always a risky colour to wear, particularly to a party (imagine the potential Rosé accidents). However, Millie completely pulls it off, rocking this stunning white jumpsuit. We’re getting low-key Kylie Minogue vibes and we are living for it.
Despite it literally being the middle of summer, Millie decided to wear this grey fur coat to Glastonbury. Although this may not be comfortable, and not really advisable given the hygiene situation at Glastonbury, we really appreciate dedication to a strong aesthetic.
Much like a magpie, we are immediately drawn to anything metallic. So when we saw this metallic top, we screamed a bit. This look is perfect for someone who likes to have fun with fashion, but still wants to keep it conservative.
Here at STYLEWORX, one of our favourite films of all time is ‘The Wizard of Oz’. We like to think that Millie’s edgy gingham dress is a nod to Dorothy’s. Well, she did have to deal with a number of winged monkeys in ‘Made In Chelsea’.
